Welcome to Ålbæk havnebad

Rules of conduct

The Harbor Bath is an association of volunteers; therefore, it is important that you as a member or visitor support our rules and culture.

  • Bicycles are allowed to be parked outside by the bridge. Cars must be parked in the parking lot by the harbor grill.
  • We greet each other when we meet at the gangway, the bridge and in the sauna.
  • Bathing is at your own risk with consideration for your own and others' safety.
  • The water depth varies due to high and low tide and sanding. Head jumping is therefore not allowed.

  • Place your shoes on the rack just inside the door.
  • Take a bath in the sea or under the shower before going to the sauna. It is not allowed to use soap under the showers.
  • Bring 2 small towels: one to sit on, one to put your feet on.
  • Photography is not permitted unless expressly agreed.
  • You are allowed to bring a water bottle, but you are not allowed to drink alcohol in the sauna.
  • Sauna mist and meditation will be possible at special times – see information under opening hours. Sauna mist is not allowed outside these hours.

  • We are at municipal ground in a public area. Therefore, we must wear swimwear both on the bridge and in the sauna.
  • It is allowed to be naked while changing and rinsing behind the screen during the showers.

  • Membership is personal and may not be transferred to others. If this happens, the membership will be cancelled.
  • Both the board and members of the club can carry out access control.
  • Neither through membership nor when purchasing a one-time ticket may you let others in with the same code. If this happens, both the buyer of the ticket and those who have entered are asked to leave and are not • Welcome again. If a member does so, it will result in exclusion.
